Best Blog Communities

I have blogged previously about the importance of building communities online and how you can do that successfully, however have you considered tapping into some existing solid blog communities?  Makes sense doesn’t it?  Instead of just working on building your own blog community there are lots of really useful sites that will help you on your way.

 Blog Communities Will

    • Help you get more readership
    • Help you find new inspiration for blog content
    • Let you connect with more people in your niche?
    • Get you more exposure
    • Get you more back-links

So let’s take a look at a few blog communities that I use.  They are all slightly different but they can all be used to help your build your own blogging community.

Blogging Communities – Biz Sugar

The Biz Sugar Community is a site for small business owners and entrepreneurs to share  blog posts, video and other content so that others can learn from YOU.  This in turn, builds up your online reputation as a leader in your niche and gets you more eyeballs on your content.

At the same time you can see what other people are sharing and what’s current and interesting to others in your field.  Combined with a voting system, the Biz Sugar blog community votes on member’s content and advancing the best content.  The best content will make it to the Top 10 Widget weekly, Top 10 newsletter, twitter feed.  How cool. One of my favorite Blog Communities.

Blog Communities – Inbound

Inbound is a community aimed at getting inbound marketing content from around the world noticed.  It also boasts an amazing community of bloggers, marketers and others who are really passionate about SEO, social media, content marketing and more.  It has over 14,000 members so there is no end of content and people to check out you own content.

Anyone with a Twitter account can register and submit content to the site.  However like any good community you will always get the best results when you take part in the blog communities’ spirit.  Interact with others, encourage, participate and build your network.

Blog Communities – Fuelmyblog

Fuelmyblog is a spam free community, that is exclusive to bloggers.  All blogs are reviewed by a real person, so you can be sure that the content is of a decent unique quality.  Once you sign up you will be able to network with other bloggers, join in conversations, provide help and advice and even get free products to test by doing a review on your blog.  But best of all you get to share your own content.  Fuelmyblog also has a blogging forum which is a great way to get even more backlinks and readers to your site.

In a future post, I will do discuss some more blogging forums which are a great way to be part of even more “blog communities”.

So what blog communities do you use and why do you love them?
